Hydrodynamics

The Hydrodynamic module computes the circulation patterns and velocity fields that transports the model available water properties (sediments, phytoplankton, nitrate, arsenic, ammonia ...).

Transport and Dispersion

The Transport and Dispersion module uses the velocity field to compute a propertie´s spatial displacement (Eulerian/Lagrangian).

Sediment Transport

The Sediments module computes the sediments vertical and horizontal movement and bottom physical processes.

The Wave module computes wave difraction and refraction and its influence on sediment transport.

The Diagenic module computes chemical processes of sediments in the botom interface.

Water Quality and Ecology

The Water Quality and Ecology module computes primary and secondary production and nutrient cycle (nitrogen and phosforous).

Soil Water Flow

The   Soil module solves the Richards equation for Saturated and Unsaturated porous media. This module is used for water flow in soil, using Van Genuchten soil hydraulic properties.
